Title 1 is a federally funded program for students who live in the city of Milwaukee who are performing below grade level in math and reading. Students are assessed in the beginning of the year to determine which areas they are in need of instruction and again at the end of the year to determine the progress they have made. Students in need of assistance work in a group setting and have access to computers during instruction.
