Tournament Volunteers
February 20 – 24 is the week before our tournament. In celebration we will have Spirit Week. Spirit Week is a time to enjoy our school spirit and have a little fun! So, be sure to join in the fun but make sure that it is appropriate! We are, above all, a Christian school! Here is the schedule of activities for the week:
Monday – Pajama Day –Students wear their pajamas to school. Remember, these must be appropriate and modest. Slippers and robes are fine as well. Stocking feet will not be allowed.
Tuesday – Class Color Day – Each class is assigned a color for the day. Again, please follow the guidelines of other dress down days and make it appropriate. No torn jeans, no jeggings, and no shirts with inappropriate graphics. The colors are as follows:
K4 – Orange K5 – Purple 1st – Navy blue
2nd – Pink 3rd – Light Blue 4th- Green
5th- Red 6th – Yellow 7th – White
8th- Black
Wednesday – Dress to Impress Day! Where your best and fanciest clothes. Again, appropriate and modest are the words for the day!
Thursday- Blue and White Day – Show your school colors and show your school pride! Once again, please follow the guidelines for other dress down days!
Friday- There is no school that day (Feb. 24th) but the tournament is that night so we hope to see all of you there!
Northwest Boys’ Basketball Tournament News
This year we are offering the opportunity to have a special message or some words of encouragement printed in our tournament program for an individual player or for the team. Please limit your message to 50 words. The cost of the message is $5.00 and will be used to help support the tournament. If you would like to participate please email your message to Mrs. Johnson at johnson@northwestlutheran.orgor you can bring it into the school office. The deadline to submit your message along with payment is February 10th.

Also, if you or someone you know has a local business that they would like to advertise in the tournament program please also let Mrs. Johnson know.
Our booklet is done with 8 ½” X 11” card stock folded in half. We offer three different size ads as explained below and it can include your logo, location, hours, and/or coupon, whatever you please.

All we need to include your business in our booklet is your approval, choice of ad size, and black and white artwork. This can be done by emailing the information to Mrs. Johnson at johnson@northwestlutheran.org . We will bill you later when we send you a copy of the finished booklet
