Special Activities
Homework
Students are expected to work on homework for 30-45 minutes per night. They will have math homework and reading homework each night. If your child does not have any homework they are expected to read for 30 minutes each night.
Math
We iniciated a new math series this year into Northwest Lutheran. The new math series is called Saxon Math. Saxon Math is set up so that Side A of the worksheet is done in class with teacher guidance and Side B needs to be done 2 hours later at home with little to no help. This ensures that the students understand the materials that are being taught.
